About us
Reconnaissance is an independent specialist service that delivers solutions for orthopaedic surgeons who perform complex reconstructive procedures in revision arthroplasty, fracture management, deformity correction and limb salvage.
The company philosophy is focused on our partnership with leading clinicians and their endeavours to rebuild the osseous scaffold in the presence of difficult pathology.
Reconnaissance provides and project manages customised solutions throughout the surgical intervention, putting the patient and surgeon needs first. Our experience and professionalism optimises the surgical planning, enhances the prescription of appropriate technologies and improves the overall clinical experience in the operating theatre.
Chad Everard is a former registered OR nurse who focussed on orthopaedic surgical procedures in 1997. His career progressed to working for DePuy Perth and Victoria for 13 years in senior leadership roles. Managing Medacta Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia during their startup phase was the next progressive challenge, successfully adding growth to said organisation over 5 years. Forming RCON and specialising full time in more challenging surgical cases is where his passion lies, where experience can add value to all stake holders.
